Tips for Managing Large Families

I'm the third of four. My older sister got attention as she was in sports and band as well as a number of mental health issues. My older brother got more attention as he was acting out (he had autism), and my little brother got more attention as he was acting out as well (he had adhd and was severely deregulated.) I was the only somewhat "normal" one who could handle things on their own. I was angry a lot as a child and I found that if I acted out I'd get attention. I'd try to do it the regular way by asking my parents to play, try to have conversations with them, or want to be included in things. I was told to shut up and go to my room. So then I did and eventually started causing problems. I ended up having Adhd, bipolar type II, oppositional defiance disorder, anxiety, severe depression, and ocd. For the longest time no one could figure out why I was so dang aggressive all the time.

As a parent to 4, I thought, I've got this no big deal...but holy crap its hard! We've been dealt some hard cards that really causes struggles for devoting enough time to each one of them!
